NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every living cell that participates in hundreds of reactions, including the way cells convert nutrients into usable energy and the pathways involved in DNA repair. NAD+ levels are studied in the context of metabolism and cellular maintenance. Supplying NAD+ or its precursors is the mechanism behind these preparations. Taking it
Injection, nasal, or oral dropper
Use exactly as directed by your provider and the pharmacy label. Injectable NAD+ is given subcutaneously; nasal and oral dropper forms are taken as instructed. Because rapid dosing can cause flushing, nausea, or chest tightness, providers often advise starting low, going slowly, and dividing doses. Do not exceed your prescribed amount. Refills follow a 12-week cadence with provider check-ins.
